Driven by compassion and grounded in purpose, Kat Krylov founded Promised Land Animal Sanctuary in 2017 as a safe haven for animals often overlooked, misunderstood or discarded. Raised with the quiet brilliance of a father who made ocean water drinkable, Kat carries forward a legacy of innovation, empathy and service. At our sanctuary, every life matters. We care for horses, chickens, ducks, pigs, donkeys, alpacas, goats, sheep, dogs, cats and every so often, a few surprise guests who find their way to us. Each animal who joins our family is promised a lifetime of love, care and shelter. While some are adopted into carefully chosen homes, many stay with us forever, living peacefully on 25 beautiful acres in Trent Hills, Ontario. Here, every animal is seen, cherished and truly home.
